Lower East Side

Traditionally home to new immigrants in New York, the Lower East Side is a mix of a small amount of the old, and the new. The Lower East Side is still to this day inhabited by recent immigrants, though, of course, they change over time. There is also an expansion of Chinatown into parts of the area that were not originally part of Chinatown.
