So what is it? It's a JavaScript that can be used on web sites to count down to a set date. Under Internet Explorer 4+ and Mozilla M18+, the countdown is continuously updated (live). It is reasonably simple and includes proper browser detection code to ensure that invalid Javascript is not forced on browsers not supporting it.

Updated 12/11/2001: It counts down accurately now.

As you can tell from the last update, this script hasn't been touched in quite a while. It still works, but things like the Opera sniffing code should probably be modified or removed.
